Following the presidential election to be held on January 3, 2021, it was decided to hold a prime ministry election on January 5, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it was decided to hold the election on the internet.
Currently, there is only one candidate in the presidential election. The ruling and only party, the president and current Tavil Republic president of the Tavil Democratic People's Party (TDPP), Hamza Samet Kaya, said he would run for the 2021 presidential election.
Currently, no one is a candidate for prime minister's election. If there is no candidate in the prime minister election, the election will be postponed or canceled.
Only citizens will vote in the election.
So, How to be a candidate?
To be a candidate, you must first be a citizen. After becoming a citizen (or if you are a citizen), you must apply to the Tavil Republic e-mail or official Twitter account. If your application is approved, you will be a candidate. It's that simple!
This presidential election is the second presidential election planned to be held in the Republic of Tavil. The previous election was to be held on 6 August 2020, but the election was postponed to 3 January 2021 when there were no other candidates than Hamza Samet Kaya. Who will win this election is a matter of curiosity, but the polls favor Hamza Samet Kaya. Hamza Samet Kaya is now 56% ahead in the surveys. The remaining 44% is other or uncertain.
You can watch the presidential election live on January 3, 2020 and the prime minister's election on January 5, 2020 in this website.
