14-day curfew was imposed to cover the whole country at the beginning of the year

As in the whole world, the Republic of Tavil is struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first case was confirmed on December 10, 2020 in a citizen from Fiji on Fakaofo eyale. Then the second case was detected on December 11. The first death occurred on December 14. On December 15, the presidential cabinet convened urgently with COVID-19 measures.

New restrictions and measures were taken at the meeting. There were a total of 18 confirmed cases and 2 deaths on 17 December.

You know that this virus is transmitted in mass environments. The most important of these is the upcoming Christmas. For this reason, in order to control the epidemic, it was decided to impose a full curfew across the country between December 28, 2020 and January 11, 2021. Penalties and sanctions will be imposed on those who violate the curfew. In this process, we will support you, our valuable citizens.
